IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) and No. 19
Centennial (Corona, Calif.) proved to be a back-and-forth shootout for the ages at the Honor Bowl in Southern California.
IMG Academy quarterback
Kellen Mond shovel passed to
Asa Martin on a two-point conversion with 12 seconds left to give the visitors from Florida a 50-49 victory over Centennial.
Moments earlier, Mond hit

IMG Academy-Centennial play-by-playCentennial struck the game’s first blows, going up 14-0 with its up-tempo offense. The trio of quarterback
Tanner Mckee (361 passing yards), running back
Miles Reed (162 yards, three touchdowns) and wide receiver
Xavier Marshall (204 yards, three touchdowns) kept the Huskies humming throughout – piling up points as they always do against a team that allowed just seven last week to Georgia power Grayson.
A testament to their attacking mindset early on, Centennial converted three fourth-down conversion in the first quarter.
But like last week against Grayson, Mond responded for IMG. The Texas A&M commitment threw for over 400 yards and accounted for five TDs (four through air, one on the ground).
In addition to the game-winner, Martin also had two rushing scores for IMG and took a swing pass 75 yards to set up another TD.
