Spencer Burk added two as well as
Westfield Area (Westfield, Wis.) bested Wisconsin Dells (Wis.) 42-12 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Pioneers led 35-6 at the half.
Westfield Area expanded its lead to 36 points entering the fourth quarter. WA's lone score in the quarter came on an
Alex Slowey touchdown run.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 32-28 win for the Westfield school.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Pioneers, who were coming off a 48-20 defeat at the hands of New Glarus/Monticello in its previous game. The win broke Westfield Area's two-game losing streak.
Westfield Area (3-2) goes up against Nekoosa in a South Central game matchup next week, while Wisconsin Dells (3-2) locks horns with Adams-Friendship also in a South Central game.
