Franklin County Tech was able to grind out a solid victory over
Pioneer Valley Regional, winning 34 - 24. Franklin County Tech struggled to find the scoreboard the game before, so the high-scoring effort was a welcome change of pace.
Even though Pioneer Valley Regional lost, junior Wyatt Keith provided the team with a solid game as he rushed for 201 yards and three touchdowns. This marked the 3rd consecutive game in which Keith had 100+ rushing yards.
Franklin County Tech found its leader in an underclassman: Bailey Young ran for 122 yards and also punched in two touchdowns, which was enough to make him one of the team's best players.
Franklin County Tech is now evened up at 6-6. Pioneer Valley Regional dropped down to.500 with a 5-5 record. The defeat is only the most recent in a discouraging four-game streak.
