White Station (Memphis, Tenn.) put up 17 points in the fourth quarter in Saturday's game to seal their 38-14 victory over
Houston (Germantown, Tenn.).
The Spartans led 14-6 at halftime, but the Mustangs regained the lead on a two-point conversion with 11:00 to go in the third. White Station finally took the lead for the win when
Cedrick Wilson Jr. ran for a touchdown with 4:00 to go in the third quarter.
WS saw its 8-point halftime lead fall to seven entering the fourth.
With the win the Memphis school extended its winning streak to five games. White Station defeated Melrose 28-12 last week.
Coming into the game the Spartans had allowed 20.5 points per game this year.
The loss comes after Houston defeated Kirby 41-6 last week. The loss broke Houston's two-game winning streak.
