South Yosemite recap December 3, 2013
Ridgeview extended the longest winning streak in South Yosemite this week by beating Porterville, 38-35. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Wolf Pack.
Ridgeview moved up to 245 from 314 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Dennis Manning's team was able to move up by defeating the Panthers 38-35.
South's Edward Perez and Keith Evans have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-7 quarterback Perez has thrown for 1,168 yards this season, while Evans has 26 catches for 539 yards. Golden Valley's Andew Dean leads the league in rushing yards with 1,164.
Jaccob Lopez of the the Wolf Pack is just 72 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 125 carries Lopez has accumulated 928 yard this year.
Ridgeview and Porterville played the closest game in South Yosemite this week, with Ridgeview eventually emerging with a 38-35 victory.
