Fans got a thrill when Daniel DiRocco and Lance Brown connected against Righetti. The longest such play in Bay this season, the connection resulted in 81 yards.
West scaled the state rankings by moving to 58 from 121 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Warriors were able to move up by besting Canyon 35-27.
On the heels of Ian Escutia and Rory Hubbard, Palos Verdes Peninsula has had great success on offense. Escutia leads the league in passing with 1,326 yards, while Hubbard has rushed for 1,182 yards this season. Palos Verdes's Brown leads the league in receiving yards with 616 on 41 catches.
The Sea Kings added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Warriors, 63-16. The win marks eighth in a row for the Palos Verdes.
