Nathan Starks ran for three touchdowns and
Randall Cunningham added two as well as
Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nev.) defeated Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, Nev.) 72-21 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Starks in the first quarter, the Gaels led 44-0 at the half.
Bishop Gorman expanded its lead to 51 points entering the fourth quarter. BG scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Cunningham to
Keenan Smith.
With the win the Gaels extended their winning streak to six games. Bishop Gorman defeated the Bulldogs 49-20 last week.
BG's most effective player was Cunningham. The junior quarterback threw one touchdown. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.
Herman Smith made a difference for the Diamondbacks. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 52-0 win for the Gaels.
The loss comes after Desert Oasis defeated Bonanza 44-20 last week.
