Stanley Mays ran for two touchdowns and
Thomas Klohn added three as well as
Prattville (Ala.) beat
Chelsea (Ala.) 47-28 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Klohn touchdown run in the first quarter, the Lions led 27-0 at the half.
Prattville expanded its lead to 40 points entering the fourth quarter. PHS scored two times in the third, including once on a Mays touchdown run.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Lions, which was coming off a 21-17 defeat at the hands of Oak Mountain in its previous game.
In a non-conference game next week Prattville (4-4) takes on Northview, and Chelsea (3-6) will go up against Shelby County also in a non-conference game.
