LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Senior
Tracy Mosley of Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, Ga.) High School was named MaxPreps/NFCA National High School Player of the Week for games played the week of Sep. 25-Oct. 1.
Behind Mosley's arm and bat, Mundy's Mill improved to 14-2 with four victories. Mosley recorded all but two outs on her own, striking out 61 batters in 21 innings of work, including 22 over seven innings in a complete-game win over M.L. King. In the start, she did not walk a batter and surrendered two earned runs on four hits. She was also 2-for-3 with a triple, home run, three runs scored and a RBI. For the week, she was 4-0 with a 0.67 ERA and 61 strikeouts to just two walks. Mosley surrendered eight runs, two earned, on seven hits.
Mosley added two no-hitters to her resume. She struck out all nine batters in a three-inning shutout against Drew. Two starts later, Mosley fanned 14 Mt. Zion Bulldogs, did not walk a batter and allowed an unearned run in a four-inning triumph. In her other start against Tucker, Mosley recorded a three-hit complete-game victory with 16 strikeouts and one walk. At the plate, she hit .727 (8-for-11) with a double, three triples, three long balls, seven RBI and 10 runs scored. Additionally, she slugged 2.181 and was a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen bases.

The MaxPreps/NFCA High School Players of the Week are announced on
NFCA.org every Monday during the fall season with one representative chosen from the participating regions. During the spring campaign, a player from each of five separate high school regions is selected.
