After soaring high against Mt. Pleasant last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Leigh were completely outmatched, falling 0-45 to Los Gatos. Leigh were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-31.
The loss dropped Leigh's record to 1-0. The win bumped Los Gatos's record up to 1-0.
Leigh have some extra time to regroup and restrategize before their next game, which is against Woodside at 7:30 PM in two weeks. As for Los Gatos, they will face off against San Benito.
