Hilo won the last time they faced Waiakea, and things went their way on Saturday, too. Hilo were fully in charge, breezing past Waiakea 40-0. Followers of Hilo probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
The win bumped Hilo's record up to 4-1. The loss dropped Waiakea's record to 3-2.
Next week Hilo take on Kea'au at 7:00 PM. Kea'au took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Hilo's good fortune. Waiakea will be playing at home against Kealakehe at at 1:00 PM. Waiakea's defense better steel itself: Kealakehe are averaging 30.5 points per game.
