Lost its first game of the season, but still managed to defeat nationally ranked Santa Barbara (3-0) in the semifinals and Dos Pueblos (3-1) in the finals of the Archbishop Mitty Invitational.
2. (3) Reagan (San Antonio, Texas), 31-1
Reagan defeated New Braunfels 3-1 and Johnson 3-0 to remain undefeated in district play at 6-0. Kayla Keller had 18 kills and Preslie Alexander had 11 in the win over New Braunfels. Keller added 13 kills against Johnson.

3. (4) Catholic Academy (Joliet, Ill.), 12-0
The Angels stayed unbeaten and ranked No. 1 in the Chicago area after wins over Nazareth, 25-20, 25-7, and Bishop McNamara, 25-10, 26-24.
4. (5) Ursuline Academy (Cincinnati, Ohio), 10-0
The Fighting Irish won four matches last week, defeating St. Ursula Academy of Cincinnati (3-0), Seton of Cincinnati (3-0), Butler of Vandalia (2-0) and St. Ursula Academy of Toledo (2-0). Dani Reinert had 30 assists against St. Ursula Academy of Cincinnati and added 34 more against Seton.
5. (6) Shakopee (Minn.), 10-0
The Sabers shut out Wayzata 3-0 and New Prague 3-0 and head to the Apple Valley Invitational next week. Ashley Wittman had 36 kills combined in the two wins.
6. (7) Muncie Burris (Muncie, Ind.), 17-0
The Owls won twice last week, blanking Davis of Indianapolis 2-0 and Zionsville 2-0. Muncie Burris plays in the Warsaw Invitational next week.
7. (10) La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, Calif.), 2-0
The Mavericks had an easy time with Carlsbad last week, winning 25-15, 25-13, 25-22 to stay unbeaten. La Costa Canyon received seven kills from Natalie Hagglund in the win.
8. (11) Huntsville (Ala.), 33-0
The Panthers topped Hazel Green 2-0 and Madison Academy 2-0 to stay undefeated. Chelsea Wintzinger had 49 assists in the two wins while Anna McRae had 18 kills.
9. (12) Coffman (Dublin, Ohio), 8-0
The Shamrocks topped previously unbeaten Pickerington North 2-0 and dropped Bishop Hartley 2-0 in a tri-match on Saturday to remain undefeated. Coffman also topped Hilliard Davidson 3-0 and Worthington Kilbourne 3-0 earlier in the week.
10. (13) Plant (Tampa, Fla.), 10-0
The Panthers won both of their matches last week, topping Alonso and Bloomingdale 3-0. Maddie Martin and Alex Johnson each had 10 kills against Alonso while Martin had 15 kills in the victory over Bloomingdale.
11. (15) Marian (Omaha, Neb.), 13-0
The Crusaders won four times last week, edging Bellevue East 3-1 in league play and topping Columbus, North Platte and Lincoln East by identical 2-0 scores.
12. (17) Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, Ariz.), 14-0
The Gators won their only match of the week last week, defeating Highland 3-0. Kristina Kuhl had 22 assists and Bianca Arrellano had 10 kills in the win.
13. (18) Colorado Springs Christian (Colorado Springs, Colo.), 8-0
The Lions won five games at the Eaglecrest Invitational to claim the championship to stay undefeated on the season. Morgan Broekhuis had 46 kills and 41 assists in the tournament.
14. (9) Dos Pueblos (Goleta, Calif.), 6-1
The Chargers finished second to the host Monarchs at the Archbishop Mitty Tournament, defeating Santa Ynez, Christian Brothers and Berkeley Prep of Tampa, Fla., before falling to Mitty 3-1 in the finals. Sam Wopat had 18 kills and Carly Wopat had 16 kills in the championship match.
15. (14) Santa Barbara (Calif.), 7-1
Defeated Berkeley Prep of Tampa 3-2 to finish in third place at the Archbishop Mitty Tournament. Only loss was to the host Monarchs 3-0.
16. (8) Berkeley Prep (Tampa, Fla.), 7-2
The Buccaneers were 2-2 at the Archbishop MItty Tournament in California, defeating Ponderosa of Shingle Springs and Cardinal Gibbons or Raleigh, N.C., before falling to Dos Pueblos 3-1 and Santa Barbara 3-2.
17. (22) Assumption (Louisville, Ky.), 15-2
The Rockets avenged an earlier loss to Sacred Heart with a 26-24, 25-18, 25-18 victory on Sept. 20. Rockets are now 2-1 against Sacred Heart. Assumption also downed Floyd Central, one of Indiana’s top teams, 3-1 on Sept. 16.
18. (20) Lee’s Summit West (Lee’s Summit, Mo.), 11-0
The Titans stayed undefeated with a 2-0 win over Fort Osage. Also defeated North Kansas City by a 2-0 score.
19. (23) Chaska (Minn.), 6-0
The Hawks won three matches last week, including a close 3-2 match with Lakeville North of Lakeville. The Hawks also defeated Kennedy of Bloomington and Moorhead by identical 3-0 scores.
20. (24) Jesuit (Portland, Ore.), 3-0
The Crusaders picked up their third straight win to start the season with a 3-0 victory over Westview. Jesuit also defeated Canby 3-1. The Crusaders will play in the Rogue Valley Classic this weekend.
21. (NR) Los Alamitos (Calif.), 10-0
The Griffins moved into the No. 1 ranking in the CIF-Southern Section coaches poll by winning their first 10 games of the season. Los Alamitos will be tested in the next two weeks as it faces Mira Costa, Dos Pueblos and Long Beach Wilson.
22. (NR) Amarillo (Texas), 30-3
All three losses have come in two-game tournament play, but the Sandies have the second-highest win total in Texas and they have a win over the top-ranked 4A team in the state, Pearce of Richardson.
23. (NR) Gilbert (Ariz.), 12-2
Gilbert’s only losses of the season are to No. 13 Xavier College Prep and Gilbert also handed Desert Vista (21-1) its only loss of the season. Desert Vista won the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix on Saturday.
24. (NR) St. Francis (Wheaton, Ill.), 11-0
The Spartans are ranked second by the Chicago Sun Times and have a win over St. Charles East. Coach Peg Kopec recently won her 1,000th game as a head coach.
25. (NR) JH Rose (Greenville, N.C.), 7-0
The defending 4A state champions are unbeaten on the season and have received strong play from Caroline Douglas (80 kills), Emily Mannie (101 assists) and Pammy Craigle (99 assists).
