Cullman (Ala.) came into Saturday's contest ranked No. 13 in Alabama, but was stunned by
Center Point (Birmingham, Ala.), 26-7. Center Point was ranked at No. 41 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for Alabama coming into the week.
After taking the lead on a touchdown, the Bearcats went into halftime with a 7-6 lead. The Eagles took the lead to win the game on a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring zero points in the third, Center Point still trailed by one point going into the fourth quarter. But 20 points in the fourth helped CP pull out the victory.
Cullman's lone touchdown came on a 5-yard run in the second quarter.
The Birmingham school went into the matchup giving up only 16.1 points per game.
The win brought Center Point's winning streak to three games.
