7A District 6 recap September 4, 2013
Fans got a thrill when TUCKER ISRAEL and RYAN SOUSA connected against Winter Park. The connection was good for 75 yards, the longest such play in 7A District 6 this season.
Liberty scaled the state rankings by moving to 331 from 361 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Chargers were able to make move up by beating Tenoroc 45-0.
Lake Nona's dynamic duo of ISRAEL and MEHDI ELATTRACH proved tough for the Wildcats to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. ISRAEL threw for 287 yards and 2 touchdowns and ELATTRACH had 133 yards receiving. SOUSA helped Lake Nona's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 128 yards.
Lake Nona's dynamic duo of ISRAEL and ELATTRACH proved to be unstoppable against Winter Park, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
ELATTRACH was the best wideout in the league this week as Anthony Paradiso's team fell to Larry Gergley's team.
ISRAEL put up the best numbers in passing as Lake Nona lost to the Wildcats.
Grant Crider was the best running back in 7A District 6 this week. He ran for 130 yards on 16 carries as Celebration fell to Winter Park. Teammate Stefano Saragusa added to the ground attack by rushing for 42 yards.
He went 15-35 with 4 interceptions.
Osceola was the team made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to first in the league. Earlier in the week, the Kowboys defeated Freedom 35-7.
