Christian (Grand Rapids, Mich.) bested
Forest Hills Central (Grand Rapids, Mich.) 44-21 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Ewing touchdown run in the first quarter, the Eagles were up 30-0 at the half.
Christian grew its lead to 37 points entering the fourth quarter. CHS's lone score in the quarter came on a Ewing touchdown run.
With the win the Eagles extended their winning streak to five games. Christian defeated Jenison 55-7 last week.
When the two teams played each other last season, Christian came away with a 38-16 victory.
In a Ottawa-Kent - White game next week Forest Hills Central (2-5) takes on Jenison, and Christian (6-1) will go up against Lowell also in a Ottawa-Kent - White game.
