Prosser might have drawn first blood against Sunnyside on Friday, but it was Sunnyside who got the last laugh. It was close but no cigar for Prosser as they fell 19-22 to Sunnyside. The game was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but Prosser was outplayed in the second half. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Prosser off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Sunnyside a 1-0 record.
Prosser will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against West Valley at 7:00 PM. Sunnyside are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Cleveland next week at 7:00 PM.
