Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool put forth a good scoring effort last week and even improved upon it this week, but that didn't prove quite enough. It was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as it fell 74 - 68 to NYOS Charter. Since it was a playoff game, the defeat was a particularly difficult one for Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool.
With 24 points in the first half, NYOS Charter started the game off on a good foot. That put it at a 24 - 20 advantage. Its success only continued in the second half, where it racked up an additional 50 points.
The defeat dropped Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool's record to 7-3. The win bumped NYOS Charter's record up to 6-5.
Both teams are aiming to improve upon those records in their upcoming games. Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool will square off against TBA this Saturday. Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool has flexed it offensive muscles in its last ten matchups, so TBA has a real workout ahead of it. NYOS Charter is set to face off against West Texas Homeschool in a playoff match this Saturday.
