South Lewis got off to a slow start in their contest last week, but they had no such trouble against Cooperstown as they cruised to a 32-point first half. Cooperstown countered with 14 points, leaving the score at 32-14 going into the half. South Lewis put the contest away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and six points allowed from the defense.
Next week South Lewis take on New York Mills at 12:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, South Lewis and New York Mills will really light up the scoreboard. As for Cooperstown, they will face off against Bishop Grimes. Bishop Grimes have averaged 76 points over the course of their past four games, so Cooperstown might be in for a challenge.
