On Friday Hill will take on San Jose at 7:00 PM. Hill don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Hill might be getting used to good results now that the squad has four wins in a row. Everything went their way against James Lick last Friday as they made off with a 22-0 win. Hill were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-39, which was the final score in San Jose's tilt against Ann Sobrato. San Jose were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-23.
Hill's victory lifted them to 4-3 while San Jose's loss dropped them down to 1-6. In their victory, Hill relied heavily on senior Laronn Chapman, who rushed for 117 yards and 1 touchdown. San Jose will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
