Cass took down Southeast Whitfield County 46-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
River Ridge made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,251 from 8,923. The improvement was the result of a 44-21 victory over Heritage last week.
Cedartown's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Harrison BArnett threw for 111 and 3 touchdowns and Israel Battle had 104 yards receiving. On the ground Nick Chubb contributed 278 yards.
Chubb was a passing and rushing force as the Bulldogs topped Ridgeland. Chubb's favorite target this week was Battle, who caught 5 passes for 104 yards.
He was 6-10 with 0 interceptions.
Chubb was a force in the backfield as Cedartown bested the Panthers.
Battle was the best wideout in AAAA Region 7A this week as Scott Hendrix's team defeated Ridgeland.
The Colonels led the league in scoring this week by notching 46 points on the Raiders.
