Carson took the match and then some with a 57-15 win on Friday over Inglewood. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Carson are ranked far ahead of Inglewood in the MaxPreps state rankings.
Carson started the game off right with 57 first-half points. Inglewood put up 7, so the score was 57-7 at the half. Although Carson wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war. The victory bumped their record up to 2-4. Inglewood are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Carson will be staying on the road next week, facing off against San Pedro. Carson will be strutting in after a win while San Pedro will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Inglewood, they will face off against South. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.
