The biggest upset of the week belonged to West Shamokin, who defeated 299th ranked Springdale, 12-7. Zac Horner ran for 80 yards in the win.
The Wolves scaled the state rankings by moving to 344 from 412 this week, the biggest jump in WPIAL A Eastern. West Shamokin was able to make move up by defeating the Dynamos 12-7.
Apollo Ridge's dynamic duo of Jesse Zelonka and Alex Smith proved to be unstoppable against North Catholic, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Zelonka threw for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns and Smith had 73 yards receiving.
The Vikings' dynamic duo of Zelonka and Smith proved tough for the Trojans to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Horner was the most successful running back in the league this week. Alex Lasslo also contributed to the rushing game with 21 yards on the ground.
Smith was the best wideout in the league this week as Apollo Ridge lost to North Catholic.
