Meanwhile, West Stanly was able to grind out a solid victory over South Stanly last week, winning 42 - 28. West Stanly had two big standouts, as Lukas Scott split the defense to the tune of 111 yards, while Bailey Baker picked up 54 yards on the ground. Baker has been the ringleader for West Stanly this season three times now.
West Montgomery's defeat dropped it to 2-1 while West Stanly's win brought it to 2-2. We'll find out if West Montgomery can steal West Stanly's luck or if West Stanly records another victory instead.
