If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Highland. They will challenge Littlerock on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Highland don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Highland brought a eight-game winning streak into their matchup against Knight last Friday; they left with a nine-game streak. Highland came out on top in a nail-biter against Knight, sneaking past 22-20. Junior Isaiah Creech, who rushed for 145 yards and 1 touchdown, was a major factor in Highland's success. Creech has now scored at least one touchdown in the past four games.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Littlerock, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to nine. They were dealt a punishing 0-52 loss at the hands of Antelope Valley.
Highland's victory lifted them to 9-0 while Littlerock's defeat dropped them down to 0-9. Highland caused 4 turnovers against Knight, so Littlerock will need to take especially good care of the ball.
