Fans got a thrill when Elijah Ramon and Isiah Trevizo connected against Smyer. The longest such play in 1A-2 Region I District 3 this season, the connection resulted in 57 yards.
Morton scaled the state rankings by moving to 937 from 1,017 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Indians were able to move up by defeating Lockney 28-22.
