Shane Supanick. He won one game and struck out 15 batters.
Top honors in the league this week go to the Cougars, which finished with two wins overall, good for best in the league. North Star beat
Conemaugh Township 2-0 and
Southern Fulton 6-4.
Although
Shade gave up only three hits last week, fewest in the league, the Cougars lead the league with just 65 allowed all season.
Four batters hit over .400 this week. They were led by Pat Callahan, who hit 1.000 this week (4-for-4).
Tony Strasiser hit an excellent 1.000 for North Star. His season batting average leads the league at .644.
Supanick struck out 15 in the Cougars' 2-0 win over the Indians on May 22. Over his seven innings pitched he allowed zero runs on one hit.
