Everything went Bethel's way against Vallejo on Friday as they made off with a 28-7 win.the rankings were on Bethel's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result
Bethel's offense had trouble getting into gear in the first half and closed the half with zero points. Vallejo couldn't get anything started offensively, either, which meant the halftime score sat untouched at 0-0. The offense for Bethel put that tie to bed by coming up with 28 points in the second half to win the game. The victory bumped their record up to 5-4. The loss dropped Vallejo's record to 3-5.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Bethel take on De Anza at 7:30 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. As for Vallejo, they will face off against Albany. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
