Since it was a playoff game, the defeat was a particularly difficult one for Sipsey Valley.
The loss dropped Sipsey Valley's record to 3-8. The defeat is only the most recent in a discouraging three-game streak. Montgomery Catholic remains undefeated at home and rose to 10-1.
