JASPER, Mo. -
Jasper (Mo.) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat Liberal (Mo.), 35-0, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Logan Johnston touchdown run in the first quarter, the Eagles were up 27-0 at the half.
Jasper grew its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. JHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Payton Smith.
With the win the Eagles extended their winning streak to 10 games.
Jasper came into the game allowing 13.7 points per game.
JHS also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 28-12.
