Lancaster will be playing at home against Eastside at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Lancaster are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Things haven't been easy for Lancaster, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They took a serious blow against Palmdale last Friday, falling 29-66. Despite the loss, Lancaster saw an underclassman step up: Sophomore Gamaliel Serrato passed for 166 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Eastside have had to suffer through a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their game against Littlerock by a conclusive 26-0 score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Eastside had established a 26-0 advantage.
Everything went Lancaster's way against Eastside the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 36-14 win. Will Lancaster repeat their success, or does Eastside have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
