The Pirates now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flippin for a non-league test on Thursday, April 2. Jasper will play a Bobcats team coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 10-4.

With the defeat, Viola drops to 3-9 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR) to encounter the Screamin Eagles in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 2. The Screamin Eagles enter the outing with a record of 4-3. Hillcrest won 15-0 in their recent non-league outing against Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR)
