St. John Bosco (CA) finishes the year at No. 1.

Top 25 high school football rankings

No. 1 St. John Bosco (CA) all but clinched the top spot in the country with a 49-28 win over No. 13 De La Salle (CA) and won its first CIF state title since 2016.

Pickerington Central (OH) goes from 19 to 13 after winning the Ohio Division 1 state championship and Marietta (GA), Thompson (AL), and Denton Guyer (TX) are the three new teams in the Top 25 checking in at 18, 24, and 25 respectively.

Half of the games this week are playoff matchups but the Game of the Week is a WCAC regular season finale between No. 21 Gonzaga (DC) and No. 25 St. John's (DC).
