Amelia Freitas has been named player of the year. "Amelia Freitas was a leader who led by example. She never gave up and always gave a 100% out on the field. More than that she helped others on her team when they needed it. She was there to pick them up after an error or the first one to congratulate on a great play. Amelia is the catalyst to this team and we are glad we have 2 more years to watch her grow. Amelia is a true leader and captain on this team every day of the season."
