This year he was one of three captains and averaged 12pts, 6asts, 5rbs and 3stls per game. However, numbers can't quantify how much Jose-Maria meant to our group! He became a vocal leader and a leader by example in practices and games. He exemplified the point guard position by being an extension of the coach on the floor and making everyone around him better with his passing, positivity, calming influence and ball control. Jose-Maria helped lead the College Prep Couagrs to a 14-13 overall record, including 7-5 in league. "
