Ella Cazzavillan has been named player of the year. "The 2025 Girls Soccer season was the best in Saint John Paul II Catholic High School History. The girls won the Alabama 4A State Championship. They finished with a record of 19-1-2. It was an impressive season that was led by an impressive player. Ella Cazzavillan scored 46 goals, had 33 assists and added 92 steals on the season. Ella's contributions were far beyond her impressive stats. She led the team every day at training with her tireless work effort and her positive attitude. Ella now holds the school records for goals scored in a career at 120, assists in a career at 64 and assists in a season at 33 assists. Ella Cazzavillan is the Saint John Paul II Catholic High School Player of the Year for 2025!"
