His skill on the ball, ability to find and take advantage of space, and finishing talent has resulted in a spectacular season full of goals and assists. He led the team in goals and total points and was involved in some way in the vast majority of the goals we scored this year. What has impressed me the most however has been his growth in the less flashy parts of the game. Pressing defenders. Closing out in the midfield. Working to be an option to receive the ball. His work rate has grown tremendously and it is these aspects of his game that have the most impact on our team's success. Marlon has always been good at the big things, but now that he has learned how to excel at the small things as well he has truly become a complete and indispensable player."
