    Solomon Washington has been named player of the year. "Led Carver to the 2021 Louisiana Hoopfest Summer Classic State Championship. The senior & his Rams teammates rolled off that moment and ultimately won the LHSAA District 11-4A Title with Washington earning the league's MVP for the second year in the row. Heading into the playoffs Washington & the Rams earned the #1 overall seed for the second year in a row. Once the dust settled the Carver Rams emerged as the the 2021-22 Louisiana Class 4A State Champions where Washington put up one of the greatest performances in state history: he amassed 12 PTS, 20 RBS, 10 AST, 6 BLKS, & 4 STLS. The Texas A&M signee earned the game's MVP Award. During Washington's 2021-22 campaign he led Carver in every major statistical category: MPG, PPG, RBG, APG, BPG & SPG. The 2021-22 Carver Rams emerged as Louisiana's Team of the Year: 33-5 overall record | 4-3 vs National Powers | 29-2 Vs Louisiana Teams | 5-0 Vs 4 State Champions: DI Scotlandville 1-0, 5A Zachary 1-0, 3A Madison Prep 2-0 & DIII Newman 1-0. "
