Whitley Rammel has been named player of the year. "Whitley is a 4 year varsity player. She has earned many different awards throughout her volleyball career at Fort Recovery through hard work and dedication. Whitley was voted 2021, 2020, 2019 MAC 1st Team, 2021 1st Team District 8, 2020, 2019 2nd Team District 8, and 2020, 2019 3rd Team All Ohio. She currently leads the team with 396 terminated attacks (3.9/set) with a percentage of 41.4%. She has a total of 29 aces, 75 blocks (1.0/set), 81 digs (1.1/set), 11 assists (0.1/set) and a 90% serve receive rating. In the MAC/Grandlake Volleyball Leader board, she's third in terminated attacks per set and second in blocks per set. Not only does Whitley work diligently on the court, but she also works tirelessly off the court. She's managed to keep a GPA above a 3.5, she is a three-sport varsity letter athlete, making it to state two years in a row for the track team, and she works for a local business. Whitley is just a great well-rounded student-athlete. "
