Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ), 75-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Apache Junction upgrades its record to 8-13 on the season. The Prospectors host Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ) to play the Chargers in a IV Section V bout on Monday, January 25. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 5-14. Benjamin Franklin lost 53-36 in their recent league bout against Gilbert Classical Academy (Gilbert, AZ)

Next up, the Tigers play the Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans (Gilbert, AZ) in a IV Section V bout, on Tuesday, January 26. Globe will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 53-36 league win over Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ).
