The Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) basketball knocked off the visiting Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), 55-42 in Monday's non-league test.

The Knights (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ). The Sabercats go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Saguaro notched a victory over Youngker (Buckeye, AZ), 70-46, in a non-league test.

The Prospectors now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Tempe for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Apache Junction will encounter a Buffaloes squad coming off a 83-62 non-league win over Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-1.
