The Chandler Wolves (Chandler, AZ) basketball nipped the host Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ), 67-63 in Friday's league test.

The Wolves (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Hamilton (Chandler, AZ). The Huskies go into the 5A Fiesta test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Hamilton was tipped by Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ), 60-52, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilbert for a 5A Fiesta test on Tuesday, January 27. Mesquite will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 65-57 league loss to Highland (Gilbert, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 13-6.
