The Tigers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Basha for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 27. Gilbert will battle a Bears squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Perry falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Pumas host Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Trojans in a 4A Desert Sky challenge on Monday, March 2. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Paradise Valley won 19-4 in their recent league challenge against Verrado (Buckeye, AZ)
