In Tuesday's league contest, the Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ) volleyball squad tipped the host McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ), by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Apache Junction upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Prospectors host Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Desert Sky bout on Thursday, October 15. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Queen Creek won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Apollo (Glendale, AZ)

The Chargers now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Coconino for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 20. McClintock will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-14.
