The Apache Junction Prospectors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting McClintock Chargers to 2 in the Prospectors league victory on Thursday.

The Prospectors now have a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Queen Creek for a 4A Desert Sky game on Tuesday, September 29. Apache Junction will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-1.

The Chargers (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ). The Sabercats enter the 4A Desert Sky game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Saguaro was nudged by Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ), 3-1, in a league game.
