With the win, Piedmont upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Highlanders host San Leandro (San Leandro, CA) to play the Pirates in a West Alameda County - Foothill bout on Wednesday, January 29. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 14-6. San Leandro lost 64-57 in their recent non-league bout against Oakland Tech (Oakland, CA)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Edison Vikings (Stockton, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 25. Berkeley will attempt to move on its 8-11 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 15-7 record after their 59-40 league win over Franklin (Stockton, CA).
