The Buchanan Bears basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Napa Indians to 51 in the Bears non-league victory on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Steele Canyon for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 6. Buchanan will battle a Cougars team coming off a 57-56 non-league win over Bethel (Vallejo, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
The Indians (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bethel (Vallejo, CA). The Jaguars come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Bethel was nudged by Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA), 57-56, in a non-league contest.
