The Gardena Panthers (Gardena, CA) basketball knocked off the host Carson Colts (Carson, CA), 49-34 in Wednesday's league test.

The Panthers (12-7) will now prepare for their test against King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA). The Golden Eagles go into the Marine test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, King/Drew went down by Narbonne (Harbor City, CA), 80-41, in a league test.

The Colts now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Banning for a Marine test on Wednesday, January 20. Carson will encounter a Pilots squad coming off a 99-34 league loss to George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA). The Pilots record now stands at 6-8.
