In Friday's league outing, the Chester Volcanoes (Chester, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA), by a count of 79-57.

The Volcanoes (15-5) will now prepare for their outing against Mercy (Red Bluff, CA). The Warriors go into the Tri-Cities outing with a 2-20 record. In their last outing, Mercy was crushed by Maxwell (Maxwell, CA), 59-38, in a league outing.

The Panthers now hold a 7-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to University Prep for a Tri-Cities outing on Friday, February 10. Maxwell will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 53-37 league loss to Liberty Christian (Redding, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-11.
