Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Terra Nova Tigers (Pacifica, CA), 54-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cupertino upgrades its record to 23-5 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Riordan (San Francisco, CA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 27. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 18-10. Riordan won 66-40 in their recent non-league bout against North Monterey County (Castroville, CA)
