The Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) basketball felled the host Etna Lions (Etna, CA), 71-60 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Bears (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against Fall River (McArthur, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Shasta Cascade outing with a 17-4 record. In their last outing, Fall River was topped by Modoc (Alturas, CA), 48-27, in a league outing.

The Lions now own a 4-17 record. They take the field next when they host Weed for a Shasta Cascade outing on Friday, February 10. Etna will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 66-47 league win over Burney (Burney, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 7-15.
